Diary | La douce France

DSCN4539

This year I’ve spent my NYE in the countryside of La douce France. In a small little house, in the middle of nowhere, we’ve enjoyed nature, read a lot of books, listen to the radio and visited totally abandoned places  (no other tourists almost, which is very weird if you’re used to France in the Summer). I can recommend it to everyone, except the fact, that because of the winter, almost everything is closed (musea, wineries etc). And, there is no fireworks on new year’s eve, something which is normal in the Netherlands. Anyway, I wouldn’t be myself, if I didn’t photograph a lot of the nature, and the rhythms in the architecture of the great old churches we visited. So therefore, here some of the pictures I took.

The new year has begun good, with the first trip already…
